Karey is the Ultimate Office Manager. Although she spent much of her career managing a 911 Call Center, her transition into the field of optometry has been a breeze and we are incredibly thankful for her! She’s originally from Michigan, but has been in the Valley area for the last several years. When she’s not putting out the fires at VVC, she loves spending time with her husband, Chadd, and their 4 grown children, as well as traveling to anywhere and everywhere. Karey is a breast cancer survivor and is very passionate about breast cancer awareness and prevention. 

Patti has been at VVC for more than 20 years and because of that, most of our patients know her. She has worked under all three of the doctors who have owned VVC (Dr. Archer, Dr. Courtright, and now, Dr. Robbins). When you visit us, you’ll see Patti in the pre-test room before you go in with the doctor, and if you’re lucky, she’ll even be the one to refract your vision. Patti has experienced a lot of changes at VVC over the years as its grown and stretched and she’s been a trooper to stick it out with us. If there’s one things Patti can be described as, it’s “caretaker.” She loves to take care of her people and she does it well. Originally born in San Diego, she grew up in LaGrange, GA and spent most of her life in this community. When she’s not at work she loves to go to the lake, fish, and spend time with her 5 grandchildren.

Jessica has been a part of the VVC family for 10 years and has certainly become a Jack of all trades. Whether she’s answering the phone, greeting at the front desk, seeing patients to their exam room, or helping someone pick out glasses, her favorite part of her job is creating a positive experience for our patients from the time they step in our door until the time they step back out. And, boy, is she good at that! She’s also our resident Christmas Cheermeister. She was born and raised in the Valley area and she’s now raising her two boys, Mason and Henry, with her husband, Trey. When she’s not working, she loves to cook, spend time with family, read, and take care of the bloodhound and French bulldogs that she breeds. 

After you’ve completed your exam, you’re most likely to finish your time in our office picking out glasses with Nellann. She’s the Face of Optical at VVC and one of the friendliest, smiliest people you’ll meet! Originally born in Georgia, she grew up in Michigan until the age of 22 when she moved to the Valley area to be closer to some family. There she met her husband, Phillip, and together they have 3 sons Evan, Reid, and Tate. Her oldest son, Evan, is married to Heavyn and they recently gave Nellann her first grandchild, Louella, which she is just smitten over! When she’s not at work, she loves to spend time with her family, crochet, and read. 

In March of 2023, when we needed her most, Debbie joined our family and quickly became our insurance guru. Insurance is complicated, but Debbie can always figure it out. She’s not originally from here and actually spent most of her life in Miami. If you know her even just a little bit, then you know her family is everything to her. She met her husband of 40 years on a cruise in 1983 and, together, they have a daughter. Debbie loves to spend time with her family and her pups. She’s particularly passionate about the welfare of animals. 

Kristen: When you call VVC or end your appointment at the check-out counter, you’re likely to spend some time with Kristen. She was born and raised in the Valley and is now raising her 3 kids here, Jayda, Kaydence, and Kayden. When she’s not working, she’s most likely spending time with her family and she also loves to take spontaneous trips and kayak. Oh, and fun fact: Kristen is the only ginger in her family!
